Affiliate disclosure
LeakLens is free to use and funded in part by affiliate commissions. Some of the outbound links on this site — the ones pointing to VPNs, password managers, and privacy tools — are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.
What this does and doesn't change
- It never changes your test result. Every diagnostic reports exactly what it measured on your own connection. No product placement can turn a pass into a fail or the reverse.
- It doesn't decide what a test flags. When a test recommends a fix, that recommendation follows from the finding, not from who pays a commission.
- Affiliate links are marked. They carry a
rel="sponsored"attribute and open in a new tab, and each result-driven recommendation shows a disclosure before the link.
What we put in an offer slot
Only products we'd be willing to use ourselves. No "system cleaners," adware, or bundled junk — if it wouldn't pass the "would I install this?" test, it isn't in our config.
Privacy
Running a test doesn't require an account, and we don't store your IP address, results, or email. Outbound affiliate clicks are measured through our own click tracker so we can see which offers are useful — that's separate from the tests, which stay private.
